Required Qualifications:

A minimum of 2 years of experience providing general administrative support to a middle or senior management member with significant meeting requirements. 2 years’ experience in an intermediate or higher administrative support role. Advanced understanding of MS Office (Outlook, Lync, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.) and a minimum typing speed of 60 words per minute.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Ability to work independently with frequent interruptions and effectively prioritize workload during periods of intense activities. Excellent critical thinking skills, time management and organizational skills, and ability to multi-task under pressure. Excellent interpersonal, communication both written and verbal, and analytical skills. Must demonstrate attention to detail, professionalism, and confidentiality at all times. Must be able to exercise judgment, tact, and diplomacy.


Preferred Qualifications:

Post-secondary education required, preferably in medical office administration. Considerable working knowledge of Alberta Health Services systems and processes preferred.
