Your Opportunity:

In addition to a competitive rate of pay, AHS currently has a Remote Retention Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $3,000. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay.

Description:

As an Administrative Support III, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Applies principles of family-centred care. Support client decision making ability. Organization, planning and time management ability. Applies principles of learning. Receptive to learning. Computer literacy. Cultural competency. Ability to adapt to changes. Ability to utilize quality improvement processes. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Standing and walking for long periods of time, as well as twisting, bending and reaching. Ability to move and lift moderately (up to 30 pounds) heavy objects, required. Ability to be adaptable and work in a high pace frequently changing environment. Grade 12 or General Equivalency Diploma, supplemented by office assistant courses and/or health record related courses, required. English language skills in reading, writing and oral communication, required. Previous experience in an office environment within the last five years, required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in a health care setting preferred.
