Required Qualifications:

Completion of bachelor's degree in Addictions or a combination of a bachelor's degree in a health related field plus a diploma in addictions or course work in addictions or equivalent education and experience. Individuals eligible for registration under the Health Professions Act must maintain active registration. Individuals may require authorization under regulation to perform restricted psychosocial interventions.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work or related social science field, with accompanying registration in a regulatory body as defined by the Health Professions Act. Minimum of 2 years of direct experience in family counseling. First Aid/BLS. Nonviolent Crisis Intervention. Suicide Prevention.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in family counseling within an addiction or mental health program. Experience in e-Clinician.
