Required Qualifications:

A minimum post-secondary diploma in disability management or health related area. A minimum of two years’ experience in case management in an organization of significant size, complexity and diversity. Equivalencies of education and experience may be considered.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Knowledge of STD and LTD eligibility and application processes. Considerable knowledge and expertise in benefits administration and payroll calculations. General knowledge & awareness of Ability Management Program & processes. Previous experience in a health care setting is an asset. Competence with using human resources management system software. Competence in the use of Microsoft Office products. Competence in the use of word processing, spreadsheets and database programs. Considerable knowledge of modern office practices, procedures and equipment. Knowledge of data entry and word-processing. Excellent communication/interpersonal/organizational skills. Excellent formatting, grammar and proofreading skills. Ability to complete duties with numerous interruptions. Ability to prioritize and balance workload. Ability to handle incoming phone calls in a courteous and effective manner. Ability to be an effective team member. Ability to be flexible and willing to learn new concepts. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Must have good command of the English language.


Preferred Qualifications:

A related Degree from a post-secondary institution is preferred.
