Required Qualifications:

Plan, develop and facilitate workshops and presentations for various audiences (certifying partners, employers, occupational health and safety staff, workplace health champions etc.). Develop workplace health training resources and facilitate training and education sessions using adult learning principles. Develop, manage and sustain effective relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate collaborative action and support workplace health projects. Recruit participants to take part in applied research projects. Orient new staff and stakeholders to projects. Represent the Workplace Health Team at external meetings and act as an ambassador of our work. Promote workplace health projects at conferences and other internal and external speaking engagements. Draft web and print content for public facing workplace health materials. Collaborate with the health marketing team to develop marketing materials to promote workplace health projects (brochures, web content, videos, and digital and print assets).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Masters level (or equivalent) in public health, population health, health promotion, or related area. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an organization of significant size and complexity, with a focus on Public Health, Health Promotion, Workplace Wellness, Occupational Health and Safety or Human Resources. Passion and experience applying health equity and population health approaches. Aptitude for building and sustaining complex relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Experience with managing effective collaborations, advisory/working groups and steering committees. Knowledge of best practices in workplace health, safety and wellness. Successful leadership experience in project planning, execution, reporting, monitoring and evaluation. Advanced written and oral communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in Workplace Health and Wellness, Occupational Health and Safety or Human Resources are preferred. Experience with research and project management methodology, processes and tools is an asset. Experience with SharePoint and Microsoft programs is an asset. Experience with various technologies and strategies for engaging stakeholders virtually and in-person is an asset.
