Required Qualifications:

An undergraduate Nursing Degree and an OHN(c) certificate from an accredited post-secondary institution is preferred; If OHN(c) is not present, proof of commitment to complete must be provided within 6 months from start date. Nursing applicants must have current registration with CARNA. or An Occupational Hygiene specialty with a minimum of a degree in occupational hygiene or related area plus appropriate license or other recognized designation. or A professional with a minimum of a post-secondary degree in Ergonomics/Kinesiology or related degree plus appropriate licences and designations. Advanced knowledge of provincial legislations and regulations as it relates to Occupational Health & Safety. Knowledge of ISO/CSA standards related to Occupational Health & Safety Management System.


Additional Required Qualifications:

As Required.


Preferred Qualifications:

A minimum of 3 years in workplace health & safety in an organization of significant size, complexity and diversity (healthcare experience is an asset). Auditing certification or experience is preferred.
