Required Qualifications:

Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing or Healthcare Field with appropriate and active licenses and designations. A minimum of 3 years in a similar leadership role in an organization of comparable size, complexity and diversity (healthcare experience required). Equivalencies of education and experience may be considered. Progressive leadership experience and skills, including demonstrated ability with decision-making responsibilities. Demonstrated ability to manage change and establishing effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Excellent communicator with strong organizational, analytical and planning skills. Strong commitment to patient and family centered care and providing quality services. A demonstrated pattern of professional and personal development appropriate to this position.


Additional Required Qualifications:

In addition, the incumbent will possess a record of accomplishment in the following areas: Effective communication with strong organizational skills, influential skills, client focused orientation and commitment to providing quality services; Leadership skills, including demonstrated ability and comfort with decision making responsibilities, coaching and teaching, and the ability to inspire and build confidence in others; Demonstrated ability to manage change; Ability to manage human, financial and physical resources within an operating environment; Proven ability to foster partnerships and to achieve organizational goals within an organization and ideally managing within a unionized sector; Strong track record in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders; Effective leadership abilities combined with a strong commitment to operating within a team environment and the ability to motivate and inspire other to achieve common goals; Excellent analytical and decision-making skills; Ability to foster a climate of cooperation amongst, and build solid relationships with physicians, public agencies, government, committees and other partners.


Preferred Qualifications:

Masters of Nursing or related healthcare field. Previous Management experience.
