Required Qualifications:

A minimum of a baccalaureate Degree in Nursing or Health Related field. Current professional registration in good standing. A minimums of 5 years experience working in a healthcare setting. Demonstrated leadership ability in a complex healthcare system. A demonstrated pattern of professional and personal development. Current Heart and Stroke Foundation BLS Level C - Health Care Provider.

Additional Required Qualifications:

The incumbent will possess a record of accomplishment in the following areas: Ability to manage human, financial and physical resources Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to inspire and build confidence in others A client focused orientation and commitment to providing high quality patient and family centered services Demonstrated ability and comfort with coaching and teaching The ability to manage and prioritize workload and work in a fast paced, dynamic environment Demonstrated ability to lead and manage change Proven ability to foster partnerships and achieve goals within a team environment Strong track record in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders Excellent analytical and decision-making skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous formal leadership experience. Frontline or leadership experience in an ambulatory care setting. Quality Improvement certification (i.e. AHS AIW Green Belt, Black Belt or equivalent). Change Management certification (i.e. AHS PROSCI or equivalent). Completion of leadership development courses and a demonstrated pattern of professional development and growth.
