Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing . Current and maintained registration with CARNA, no restrictions. Experience in Unit supervision and relevant nursing management experience. Basic Cardiac Life Support for Health Care Providers (BCLS-HCP). Demonstrated competence in using Microsoft Suite of Tools.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Clinical Nursing experience - 5 years. Management/Supervisory experience - 5 years. Evidence of excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills, including management of human, financial and physical resources within an operating environment. Principle-based decision making skills. Evidence of initiative and flexibility. Evidence of commitment to fostering professional growth and effectiveness of Unit personnel.
Preferred Qualifications:
Technologically literate. Proficiency with Connect Care. Demonstrated ability to be creative and innovative and effect and sustain change. Ability to engender a cooperative work environment. Ability to function effectively within a dynamic work environment. Ability to assess the effectiveness of programs and activities on the basis of quantifiable outcomes. Ability to promote quality improvement strategies and methodologies to staff. Conflict management experience.
