Required Qualifications:

The candidate must have the physical capability to perform all aspects of the role. Candidate must have 2 years of charge nurse experience in a high acuity care area such as ICU/Emergency. Equivalencies may be considered. Strong leadership and critical thinking skills, demonstrated by the ability to direct other healthcare workers, problem solve and escalate clinical concerns in a timely and appropriate manner. Strong oral and written communication and demonstrated organizational skills. Commitment to the patient and family-centred care and staff engagement. Demonstrated ability to maintain collaborative working relationships with patients, families and team members. Excellent computer skills required.
