Required Qualifications:

A minimum of a Baccalaureate Degree in nursing or other healthcare field plus appropriate licenses and designations. Current CPR (BCLS).


Additional Required Qualifications:

Demonstrated leadership ability in complex health care systems. Demonstrated ability to operate within a team environment and foster collaborative partnerships. Demonstrated leadership and participation in quality improvement, project management or patient safety. Demonstrated ability and comfort with decision making as well as coaching, motivating and teaching staff. Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills. Demonstrated clear pattern of professional development. Self-directed and highly motivated. Previous human, financial, and physical resource management experience in a leadership position preferred.


Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Nursing or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in a management and/or leadership position within health care preferred. Completion of leadership development, quality improvement certification or change management certification courses in the past 3 years preferred. Previous experience in leading/supporting quality improvement projects preferred. 5 years recent experience in an acute care setting preferred.
