Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Completion of an accredited Unit Clerk Course or equivalent training program.
Additional Required Qualifications:Previous experience in a hospital setting as a unit clerk is required. Operating Room experience, especially with OR booking system is required. Computer literacy using Microsoft office and typing speed of 50 words per minute is required. Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Good judgement, initiative, and communication skills are essential. Able to perform physical demands of the position such as long periods of sitting, computer functions and multiple telephone communication.
Preferred Qualifications:Familiar with VAX and Net Care.
