Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Completion of an accredited Unit Clerk Course or equivalent training program.
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum 3 months recent experience in a hospital or medical environment, involved in booking, reception and clerical duties required. Current experience in referral management and bookings following path to care. Clinibase advanced training. Advanced Millennium Scheduler training. Able to multi task in a fast paced environment. Excellent interpersonal skills required. Computer/keyboarding skills required. Minimum typing approximately 35 wpm. Demonstrated proficiency in Windows (Word, Excel, Internet, and Email). Ability to problem solve and organize. Demonstrate initiative and independence in fulfilling the duties required.
Preferred Qualifications:Recent clerical experience in an acute care setting is desired.
