Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Completion of an accredited Unit Clerk Course or equivalent training program.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally, and in writing. Ability to type minimum 40 net w.p.m. and operate a computer terminal. Ability to prioritize and organize workload within a dynamic work environment. Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated initiative, flexibility, and dependability in organizing and carrying out duties. Demonstrated thoroughness and attention to detail. Demonstrated pleasant manner in relationships with patients, physicians, staff, and public. Demonstrated responsibility in dealing with confidential information.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in clerical duties in a medical environment preferred.
