Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Completion of an accredited Unit Clerk Course or equivalent training program.
Additional Required Qualifications:Graduate from a Medical Office program may be considered. Minimum 2 years recent Unit Clerk experience. Medical Terminology. Has participated and/or experience in quality improvement and quality assurance initiatives. Advanced computer skills (E-scheduler, Clinibase, Microsoft, SIRENS). Good command of English language. Excellent communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaborate within a team. Demonstrated organizational skills. Ability to prioritize and remain calm under stressful situations.
Preferred Qualifications:Recent experience working in an Emergency Department or Critical Care area.
