Required Qualifications:

Completion of diploma from an accredited post-secondary rehabilitation Therapy Assistant program or equivalent training may be considered.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Speech Language Assistance diploma from a recognized communication disorders assistant program. Must be an independent worker. Ability to manage multiple tasks. Independent decision making skills. Good comprehension of both spoken and written English. Ability to prioritize tasks from multiple sources and people. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Basic computer skills required. Ability to function as an effective team member. Understanding of and commitment to a Family Centred Care service delivery model.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience working with young children in an organized setting desirable.
