Required Qualifications:

Completion of diploma from an accredited post-secondary rehabilitation Therapy Assistant program or equivalent training may be considered.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years related experience in therapeutic work in a clinical or residential setting. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. A valid Heart and Stroke Health Care Providers Level C certificate is required. Excellent communications, organizational and interpersonal skills. Physically and emotionally carry out the duties of the position.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in working with individuals with mental illness and/or an addiction would be an asset. Class 4 driver’s license would be an asset.
