Required Qualifications:

Completion of diploma from an accredited post-secondary rehabilitation Therapy Assistant program or equivalent training may be considered.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Previous experience working in clinical/rehabilitation setting and/or with persons who have disabilities. Must be capable of transferring patients and portering patients with pushing/pulling wheelchair both indoors and outdoors. Effective communication with a patient centered focus. Equivalent education and work experience will be considered. Demonstrating behaviors consistent with the values of AHS: compassion, accountability, respect, excellence and safety.

Preferred Qualifications:

Rehabilitation, geriatric, and musculoskeletal (MSK)/ Spinal cord injury experience is preferred. Connect Care experience is preferred.
