A minimum of a technology related degree or diploma preferred. Equivalent education and work experience considered. A minimum of 10 years of experience in solution architecture and design in a large/complex enterprise IT environment. 3-5 years hands-on experience designing and deploying IaaS/PaaS/SaaS/CaaS cloud architecture Includes: Creation of strategy, roadmaps, vision statements, business cases, solution contexts, as well as setting principles and standards to create a secure, stable, fault tolerant, cost-effective cloud computing environment. Working experience in Public Cloud technologies and concepts: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Azure Experience of architectural frameworks such as Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF), TOGAF, etc. Excellent problem-solving skills and root cause identification. Result’s focused in a complex, diverse, and changing environment. Excellent written and oral communication skills and comfortable delivering presentations to small and large groups including executive level management internally and externally.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Progressive leadership experience with responsibility for leading highly technical staff and cross-functional or matrixed teams within large, complex mission-critical systems or the equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of virtualization and automation (VMWare, vRA, etc.) Strong knowledge and understanding of Kubernetes CSP Certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) Cloud Security Certifications (CISSP) Cloud management tools Regulatory and compliance experience using frameworks and standards such as HIPAA, CIS, NIST, ISO, SOC ITIL foundations certification with Enterprise IT experience using ITIL
