Completion of Grader 12 or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Able to work all shifts as operationally required. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Accurate typing speed of 40WPM required and testing is done prior to interview. Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook) required. Minimum 6 months recent switchboard experience in a large institution required. Demonstrates proficiency in the English language. Must have excellent communication skills as there is a high degree of interaction with patients and a variety of disciplines at all levels of the organization. Ability to work under pressure, adapting and responding to changing priorities and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:Medical terminology. Recent experience in a hospital environment. Recent customer service experience.
