Required Qualifications:

Completion of master's degree in Speech Language Pathology. Active or eligible registration and practice permit with the Alberta College of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Actively integrates Patient and Family Centered Care principles into practice. Able to work independently with a variety of clients in an active and continuing care setting. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in order to work collaboratively with members of the multidisciplinary team and accept direction as required. Demonstrates critical thinking, conflict resolution and problem solving skills. Excellent time management and prioritization skills. Demonstrates behaviours consistent with the values of AHS - compassion, accountability, respect, excellence, and safety.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with pediatric rehabilitation. Experience working with SLP Assistants. Experience with Multidisciplinary teams. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) - Heart and Stroke preferred.
