Required Qualifications:

Completion of master's degree in Speech Language Pathology. Active or eligible registration and practice permit with the Alberta College of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Current BCLS-HCP certification is required. Effective assessment, treatment and education skills. Ability to work effectively as a member of an interdisciplinary team. Some travel to nearby communities is involved approximately once a week or once every second week.

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to: Educate others as to philosophy and objectives of Speech Language Pathology. Plan, organize and implement specific treatment programs. Develop policies and procedures pertinent to the needs of the facility and clients. Demonstrate initiative and accept responsibility. Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Utilize a wide variety of computerized operating systems. Evidence of personal motivation to perform workload with a minimum of supervision.
