Required Qualifications:

Completion of master's degree in Speech Language Pathology. Active or eligible registration and practice permit with the Alberta College of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Current BCLS-HCP certification is required. Effective assessment, treatment and education skills. Ability to work effectively as a member of an interdisciplinary team. This position requires a vehicle for business use. Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to a motor vehicle in good repair for work-related travel are required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Educate others as to philosophy and objectives of Speech Language Pathology. Plan, organize and implement specific treatment programs. Able to work closely and collaboratively with the team, including Speech-Language Assistants. Demonstrate initiative and accept responsibility. Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Utilize a wide variety of computerized operating systems. Evidence of personal motivation to perform workload with a minimum of supervision.
