Required Qualifications:

Completion of master's degree in Speech Language Pathology. Active or eligible registration and practice permit with the Alberta College of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) is required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated problem solving, planning and organizational skills are required. Must be able to work both independently as well as part of a team while managing a busy caseload. Must demonstrate a strong patient/family centered approach to care. Strong knowledge and proficiency with computer applications including basic word processing, email, internet access, virtual health platforms and electronic charting is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

A minimum of 2 years recent experience working with neurological patients and patients with complex needs is preferred. Experience working in an outpatient setting is preferred. Training in the HealthChange Methodology™ framework is considered an asset. Experience working with Connect Care scheduling and/or EMR is considered an asset.
