Required Qualifications:

Completion of master's degree in Speech Language Pathology. Active or eligible registration and practice permit with the Alberta College of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Current CPR (BLS - Health Care Provider Level C) certification required. Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team. Experience with adult dysphagia including MBS assessments required (experience within previous 1 year).

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills within a multidisciplinary team and multicultural patient group. Effective organizational and time management skills to successfully complete multiple, competing priorities. Acute care experience within the last 3 years preferred. MBSImp training preferred. Experience with FEES is an asset. Familiarity with clinical software including: Sunrise Clinical Manager, Netcare, Nuance PS360 (dictation).
