Required Qualifications:

Completion of bachelor's degree in Social Work. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Current BCLS-HCP certification required. Minimum of two years’ experience in clinical area of medical social work required, and specific experience in the home care environment is essential. Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. Ability to establish positive working relationships with a wide variety of patients and families. Ability to organize and set priorities. Considerable initiative and judgment required. Experience working on an inter-disciplinary team required. Good computer skills is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Meditech and Care Manager training is preferred.
