Required Qualifications:

Completion of bachelor's degree in Social Work. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. Considerable initiative and judgement and the ability to work independently in community settings is essential. Basic computer skills. Note: This position requires a vehicle for business use. Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to a motor vehicle in good repair for work related travel is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of and experience with guardianship, trusteeship and capacity assessment processes is an asset. Minimum of two years current experience with one year in a community based setting preferred. In-depth knowledge and experience in working with Income Security programs at community/provincial/federal levels (Alberta Works, AISH, CPP) is preferred. Experience working within an interdisciplinary team environment is preferred.
