Required Qualifications:

Completion of bachelor's degree in Social Work. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work with an emphasis in assessment, treatment and specialization in forensics. Three to five years of recent experience working with a mental health population required. Special designation to be able to perform psychosocial interventions. Active registration with the Alberta College of Social Work is required. Current Nonviolent crisis intervention and collaborative problem solving training. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent interviewing techniques, and verbal/writing and computer skills. Extensive experience in writing psychosocial reports is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience working in an inpatient forensic mental health facility.
