Completion of bachelor's degree in Social Work. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW).
Additional Required Qualifications:Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree is required. Masters of Social Work is desirable. Experience in acute inpatient Addiction & Mental Health is preferred. Current registration with the Alberta Association of Registered Social Workers is required. CPR (BLS-HCP) certification is necessary. The incumbent must have strong communication skills and must be able to work cooperatively with the health care team members, patients and their families in a fast paced environment. An ability to incorporate professional judgment when making decisions is required. Initiative and time-management skills are necessary. An ability to work with various computer programs is required.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience of one or more years working in Addictions and mental health would be preferred.
