Completion of bachelor's degree in Social Work. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW).
Additional Required Qualifications:More than 1 year Experience in an inpatient adult acute care setting. Demonstration of strong critical thinking and problem solving. Experience working successfully in a collaborative interdisciplinary team setting. Experience with capacity assessment processes, financial assessments and complex placement processes. Must have proven communication skills to work cooperatively and effectively with the health care team members, patients and their families in a fast paced environment. Strong professional judgment, initiative, and effective time management skills are necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:The ability to work with various computer programs is preferred.
