Must have strong clinical nursing skills with experience in clinical practice, leadership, facilitation, coaching, people management, change management and quality improvement. Knowledge and proficiency in acute care is required. Knowledge of AHS, Alberta’s healthcare structure, and of collective agreements. Active registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Baccalaureate degree in Nursing required. Demonstrated experience in clinical nursing practice, of which a minimum of 3 years of surgical nursing experience is required.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Equivalency of education and experience will be considered.
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in a leadership role (e.g. Charge Nurse, Nurse Educator, Professional Practice Lead, etc.) an asset.
