Completion of bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent. All Non-Union/Exempt positions are being reviewed for possible inclusions in the AUPE General Support Services bargaining unit. If this position is impacted, the incumbent will be notified accordingly.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Effective communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment and adapt to change. Ability to participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation. Experience with large complex organizations, public sector, government and healthcare.
Preferred Qualifications:
Cisco CCNP certification or equivalent industry certification(s). 8+ years of experience working in a complex multi-LAN/WAN environment with 2 years in a senior technical leadership capacity. Working knowledge and experience in supporting IP internetworking, LAN switching, VoIP technologies, IP routing protocols such as IGRP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP. In depth knowledge of Cisco products including: routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure.
