Required Qualifications:

PhD in Chemistry/Radiochemistry with a Post Graduate certificate training in Radiopharmaceutical Chemistry/Radiopharmacy. Minimum three years of experience in Radiopharmaceutical operations encompassing manufacturing, compounding, quality control and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals. Knowledge and understanding of Federal/Provincial regulations governing radiopharmaceutical operations including Goods Manufacturing Practice (GMP). Member of Canadian College of Radiopharmaceuticals, European Association of Nuclear Medicine and Association of the Chemical Profession of Alberta. Experience working within a complex, public sector organization or organization of significant size, complexity, or diversity.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Strong leadership skills and a demonstrated comfort with decision-making responsibilities. Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to forge effective working partnerships with internal and external partners, including senior leadership within AHS, and other organizations. Proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans, with effective organizational and change management skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

Leadership and management skills. Strategic planning and implementation skills along with strong relationship management skills. Eligible for an academic appointment with University of Alberta or University of Calgary. Preferred Business Administration Degree or equivalent experience.
