Required Qualifications:

A minimum of eligibility for medical licensure in Alberta, including certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Medical or Radiation Oncology, or an equivalent professional body. At least five (5) years’ leadership experience in health care operations including three (3) years’ experience in a senior leadership role in clinical services or healthcare operations. A minimum of 10 years’ experience in cancer care including at least three (3) years in leadership of cancer care within the last five (5) years is required for this position.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Successful record of achievement as a leader, including extensive experience in strategic planning and implementation. Demonstrated ability to manage change and create innovative solutions for complex and diverse issues. Effective communicator with strong organizational skills, client focused orientation and commitment to providing long term quality services. The ability to foster partnerships and achieve organizational goals within a large and complex organization.


Preferred Qualifications:

Ideally, the preferred candidate will possess Canadian Certified Physician Executive (CCPE) credentials.
