Required Qualifications:

A minimum of a Master’s Degree; research based in a health promotion or related field. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a project environment or research environment in an organization of significant size, complexity and diversity. A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Experience managing a project from start to finish (e.g., a grant project from conception to publication). Experience in health care settings. Experience with applied research methods. Experience with a project management approach. Advanced writing skills. Strong analytical, decision making, interpersonal, communication and diplomacy skills. Expert facilitation and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

In addition, the incumbent will possess a record of accomplishment in the following areas: Experience managing a project grant. Extensive knowledge of the health system. Demonstrated working knowledge of cancer and chronic disease prevention, population and public health, health equity, quality improvement, applied research methods, systematic reviews and critical appraisal skills. Ability to achieve organizational goals within a diverse team.
