Required Qualifications:

Masters Level preparation in a Health Discipline (Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy preferred) and appropriate registration with the professional regulatory college. Extensive knowledge of the provincial scope of rehabilitation services within AHS and across the province. Strong leadership skills and ability to implement and grow a program during dynamic times. Sound knowledge of the clinical research, quality improvement and evaluation processes in Alberta, including linkages with various departments internal and external to AHS. Tactical and operational thinking, taking into account short, mid and long-term goals assessing options and implications. Practical experience in leadership, analytics, professional practice development, project management and written communication. Commitment to working collaboratively in a team environment.


Additional Required Qualifications:

A minimum of five years’ experience in healthcare education, leadership or in a professional development role in an organization of significant size complexity and diversity. Extensive rehabilitation clinical expertise through experience in a variety of settings (e.g., acute, community), in order to provide full breadth of clinical support to staff. Knowledge of rehabilitation practice standards across varied disciplines (OT, PT, SLP etc.) and experience working in an interdisciplinary team. Experience in the delivery of tele rehabilitation interventions. Excellent computer skills essential, including working knowledge of the Microsoft Office applications, and the ability to learn and support staff using multiple electronic platforms concurrently. Demonstrated ability to manage time in a fast-paced environment, adhere to deadlines, and manage multiple tasks and responsibilities at once. Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication, and ability to collaborate effectively with clients, staff and management. Commitment to working collaboratively and to building a positive team environment.


Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with MS Office Suite including Skype for Business. Previous contact center experience is an asset.
