Required Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in a geographic information systems/science (GIS) plus a minimum of 3 years’ experience undertaking GIS in a health related field. A minimum of 3 years in a health care organization of significant size, complexity and diversity. Strong skills working with databases and statistical software. Excellent skills and working knowledge of GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS).


Additional Required Qualifications:

Excellent knowledge of GIS methodologies, approaches and analyses. Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills. Experience coordinating multidisciplinary projects that involve multiple stakeholders. Ability to design clear procedures for collecting, cleaning and reporting data. Ability to conduct comprehensive searches of literature (academic and non-academic). Proven ability to collaborate with administrators, researchers, and planners. Strong ability to plan, organize and manage short and long term plans and projects and deliver customer-focused results. Strong analytical and decision-making skills. Strong critical appraisal skills. Demonstrated ability to work well in a high-paced team setting and independently.


Preferred Qualifications:

Healthcare experience an asset.
