Required Qualifications:

The successful candidate will work on a variety of cancer epidemiologic projects and will work on several concurrent tasks/projects. Independent judgment, attention to detail, critical thinking, the ability to learn new methods, strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative positive attitude will be essential in performing the job duties. In order to be successful in this role the below are required skills. Master’s degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, Epidemiology or health related area. Minimum one year experience applying analysis methods on administrative data. Experience working with multiple projects concurrently and various stakeholders. Proficient in SAS (SAS Certification an asset), with knowledge of R and/or Stata an advantage; 3-5 years’ experience in Epidemiological techniques. 3-5 years’ experience working within a healthcare organization. Minimum of 3 years’ experience dealing with analyzing large population-based datasets. A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development. Excellent communication skills including advanced written and spoken English skills. Ability to work collaboratively with members of an interdisciplinary team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with tableau. Experience with cancer and administrative data. Experience working on multiple projects and various stakeholders concurrently. Clinical experience is an asset. Knowledge and experience with epidemiological studies or cancer data is an asset.
