Required Qualifications:

Post-Secondary Education in Organizational Development, Applied Behavioral Sciences, Adult Learning or a related field is required. Minimum of 5 years’ practical experience in leadership and/or employee development, team effectiveness, and/or organizational effectiveness. Minimum of 5 years practical experience creating development programs/curriculum for leaders and employees. Strong knowledge of the process, principles, methodologies and practices of organizational effectiveness and change management. Experience developing and/or recommending learning and development solutions, using various methodologies. Experience as a consultant/practitioner for leadership and employee development, team effectiveness and organizational development. Knowledge of current and future trends/practices in learning and development. Expertise in adult learning theories, systems thinking, and organizational culture. Excellent verbal and written communication and facilitation skills. Strong critical thinking skills and in-depth understanding of use of evidence-based research for decision making and program development. Strong organizational, analytical, problem solving and project management skills. Advanced interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Ability to work both collaboratively as a team across various functions, geographies (virtual environment), and work independently in an ambiguous, constantly changing environment. Strong computer expertise including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Suite.


Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s in a related field preferred. Relevant certifications of CSTD, CACE, CCM, and PROSCI or other related field to maintain currency and proficiency are an asset. Experience in an organization of significant size and complexity, and a good understanding of the health care industry is preferred. Knowledge of training systems, including Learning Management Systems, a plus.
