The successful candidate will have a degree in communications, public affairs, journalism or marketing or related field with six or more years of experience, preferably in large, complex organizations. Exceptional writing and editing skills and a strong ability to communicate verbally. Experience in the development of complex strategic communications plans. Sound judgment and decision-making skills. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels. Proven organizational and time management skills with the ability to priority and juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced working environment. Ability to understand, utilize and communicate complex information.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in stakeholder relations, media relations, issues management as well as previous experience working in the health care field or the public sector are considered assets.
