Graduate degree (an MBA, MHSA or equivalent) with 5 years applicable experience or a Bachelor’s degree and 10 or more years’ experience. Project or program/operational management skills. Practical experience in strategy, policy development, leadership, change management and risk management. Demonstrated application of business planning, modeling concepts, and program and project management theories, principles and practices. Strategic thinking, taking into account long-term goals assessing options and implications. Effective communicator & facilitator skills with strong organizational skills, client focused orientation and commitment to providing quality services. Ability to manage change and create innovative solutions for complex and diverse issues. Ability to foster partnerships and cooperation to achieve organizational goals within a large, diverse organization and managing within a unionized sector that interacts with numerous public agencies, government, boards, committees and other partners.
Additional Required Qualifications:Must be able to: Apply knowledge of complex health systems, workforce planning, and evidence-informed decision making; Monitor, identify, analyze and provide recommendations on strategic initiative and organizational risks; Provide interpretation of legislation, Medical Staff Bylaws, and internal policies and procedures; Interpret, synthesize, and integrate significant datasets to provide recommendations to Senior Leaders to guide policy and programming decisions; Synthesize complex information into a wide range of written and visual communication products such as reviews of research evidence, briefing documents, policy positions and presentations.
