Top Tip: The Easiest Way to Share Postings

The easiest way to share a job posting with someone internal or external to AHS is to share the requisition identification number (located at the top of the posting starting with ALB). The requisition identification number can easily be searched on the job board.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Must successfully attain and maintain appointment as a Community Peace Officer I by the Alberta Solicitor General. Successful candidate must have successfully completed the P.A.R.E. within the previous 6 months. Must provide current minimum Class 5 Driver’s abstract issued within the last 30 days. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support- Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).


Additional Required Qualifications:

Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

Two years post-secondary education in Security, Law Enforcement or Criminal Justice preferred. Minimum two years of security related experience, preferably in a health care environment. Certificate in Verbal Judo an asset. Previous supervisory experience is an asset.
