Active or eligible registration with the College and Association of Respiratory Therapists of Alberta (CARTA).
Additional Required Qualifications:The successful candidate must be a graduate from a recognized School of Respiratory Therapy and have passed the National Respiratory Certification Exam as administered by the Canadian Board for Respiratory Care (CBRC). Current basic life support (BLS- HCP) certification is required. The incumbent must have 2 years’ experience in acute care including critical care and assisting with bronchoscopy, excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving ability, positive attitude, initiative and motivation, the ability to work independently and in a team.
Preferred Qualifications:Preference will be given to candidates with advanced experience in troubleshooting/maintenance/repair and application of respiratory equipment and blood gas machines.
