Required Qualifications:

Active or eligible registration with the College and Association of Respiratory Therapists of Alberta (CARTA).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Graduate from a recognized School of Respiratory Therapy is required. The incumbent must be eligible to write or have passed the National Respiratory Certification Exam as administered by the Canadian Board for Respiratory Care (CBRC). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support- Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP) required.

Preferred Qualifications:

2-3 years critical care experience in a tertiary care teaching hospital with neonatal and pediatric experience. CSRT membership, PALS, NRP, ECMO, peds/neo transport experience. Member of the CISM team and official member of the Stollery Quality Council. Experience as a charge therapist, preceptoring students, participating on committees, developing quality initiatives, and implementing change in practice is. Orientated to the positions main site of work, within the last 6 months.
