The successful candidate will have obtained a Master’s degree with a focus in Occupational Health / Industrial Hygiene, or equivalent. Particular skills and knowledge base in the following areas are required: Expertise in techniques for occupational and environmental exposure data collection and analysis. Expertise in data management, manipulation and statistical analyses in STATA/SAS/R/SPSS (one of these) and Microsoft Excel (proficiency required). Ability to interpret and apply relevant occupational and environmental acts and regulations. Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment. Ability to prepare clear, concise, and accurate research publications. Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and apply problem solving skills to ensure project success. Demonstrated ability to take initiative. Highly developed time-management skills. Ability to design and manage databases. Research experience (especially in occupational hygiene). Attention to detail.
Additional Required Qualifications:As Required.
Preferred Qualifications:Assets: Ability to design and modify website illustrations using Adobe InDesign or Illustrator. Ability to use data visualization tools such as Tableau. An interest in, or specific training in, science communications and/or knowledge translation.
