Completion of an accredited Psychiatric nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Alberta (CRPNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Basic computer and email skills required.
Preferred Qualifications:Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in an adult acute practice setting. Experience working within the CoACT framework. Experience working with persons with significant mental illness and/or addictions. Strong interpersonal, organizational and assessment skills. Ability to work independently while maintain collaboration with team members. Ability to maintain effective working relationships with the interdisciplinary team. Ability to adapt quickly to changing and fluctuating workloads.
