Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:At least 1 year of adult, acute care mental health experience within the Calgary zone is required within the past 3 years. Active certification in NVCI. Working knowledge of Collaborative Problem Solving. Demonstrated ability to work well on a team. Demonstrated proficiency with computers and all programs used within Acute Care.
Preferred Qualifications:Community Mental Health experience is preferred. Experience facilitating groups is an asset.
