Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Three years’ experience as an RN/RPN including at least one year experience working in Addiction and Mental Health, dementia, geriatric psychiatry, developmental disabilities and/or brain injury.

Preferred Qualifications:

CNA certification in Gerontology or Psychiatric and Mental Health. PIECES, Supportive Pathways, NVCI and/or Case Management education. Experience working in a virtual environment. Knowledge of Continuing Care service delivery options, assessment/placement process and community supports that behaviours.
