Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Valid Driver’s license 3-5 years adult addictions and mental health nursing experience within the past 5 years. Experience working in an outreach capacity Experience working with individuals with opioid use disorder. Knowledge of the Continuum of Care of Addiction and Mental Health services in the Calgary Zone. Knowledge of Mental Health Legislation especially related to CTO's. Experience in conducting psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and medication management. Experience working in partnership with non-AHS and non-profit community agencies. Experience with Outlook, Sunrise Clinical Manager and Netcare.
