Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Ability to perform consistently in a highly organized and rapid moving environment. Ability to collaborate within the expectations of a integrated team. Ability to stand scrubbed for many hours and to meet the physical demands of the position. Ability to demonstrate communications skills that promote respect and a positive team environment. Demonstrates advanced problem solving skills integrating critical thinking and good judgment. Incumbent should have effective interpersonal and written communication skills. Computer skills including experience in Microsoft Outlook, email and scheduling.

Preferred Qualifications:

Canadian Nursing Association (CNA) Certification in Peri-operative Nursing.
